COMPASSION

Other creatures may not seem to have anything to do with me, yet their suffering is my suffering and their pain is my pain.

When someone hurts, I feel the pain in my heart and I want to help him get rid of his pain. this is "great compassion for all."

People always want to receive, but Master Cheng Yen tells people to give. Will people listen to this?

Is it possible to always receive and never give? It would be like opening an account at a bank and then always trying to get money out of it without ever putting any in.
