At School No. 8, Principal Monavar Abbas Pow fights for the rights of her
teachers in front of this government official while disregarding the presence of
visiting Tzu Chi volunteers. "Our teachers have to take care of these kids
during the day and look for food and shelter for their families at night. And
they have to come to teach the next day. They are also victims, but they can't
get any help! If things go on like this, our teachers will lose their passion to
teach..." Her agitation embarrasses the official who doesn't know how to
