Promoting hygienic knowledge

At a free clinic on Little Kinmen, the farthest of Taiwan’s outlying islands, a TIMA team member teaches a young local how to brush his teeth. Many residents must spend half a day traveling to the town to see a dentist. The free clinics can only help to relieve pain for patients. The most effective way to guarantee health is to promote good hygiene. Thus TIMA members try to teach residents ways to prevent hypertension, hepatitis, gout, and tooth decay.
