STILL THOUGHTS
The Cartoon Version
The Buddha says:

People in this world often feel dissatisfied.
Even in their dreams, they are slaves to their desires.

Rich and poor, high and low, all have their worries in this life.

Originally, people could live together peacefully and happily. However, because people always want to have more, they create suffering for themselves. Their insatiable greed creates worries and evil thoughts.

What does "have" mean? It just means that you have more worries!

Master Cheng Yen, when you were planning to build Tzu Chi Hospital, a Japanese donor was willing to contribute two hundred million US dollars, but you refused to accept it. What kind of courage and strength was behind that decision?

I wasn't building a hospital for the sake of building a hospital. I was using it to raise people's awareness. Through the process of raising money in Taiwan, I wanted to let every person in Taiwan have the chance to show their love.
