
Dr. David Landsborough
1870-1957
Cultivator of Central Taiwan's Medical Service
In his forty-two-year stay, Dr. Landsborough served in Changhua Hospital. The
benevolence and genuine skill of the doctor and his wife touched the lives of
many. in 1928, Mrs. landsborough volunteered to have her husband take skin from
her thigh and graft it onto a child whose skin had become infected from the
knees to the hips. After returning to England, they named their house in a
suburb of London "Formosa."
