 The Buddha says:Everything that we see is nothing but illusion. If we can detach ourselves from everything, then we will all be buddhas.  Most people want fame and fortune, and so they often fight and compete with each other. If everyone could stop fighting with each other, then the whole world would be peaceful. When I am in the Tzu Chi community, I feel hope for the future of Taiwan. But once I leave Tzu Chi, I cannot help but feel how dark our society is. It does not matter how dark a society may be. So long as each one of us
lights a lamp in his own heart, all those lamps will eventually bring
