STILL THOUGHTS
The Cartoon Version
The Buddha says:

All is suffering!
Birth, aging, illness and death are suffering,
not getting what we want is suffering,
leaving loved ones is suffering,
meeting people we dislike is suffering…
All is suffering!

The poor have their problems, and the rich also have their problems. Busy people have troubles, and idle people also have troubles. Who in this world does not suffer? People complain because they can't endure their suffering. The less you can tolerate, the more you suffer.

Tzu Chi has already built a hospital in Hualien. Why do you want to build another one in Talin?

All living beings suffer. Bodhisattvas should respond to their cries of suffering. So long as there is still misery in this world, Tzu Chi people will never rest. The Way of the Bodhisattvas is a road with no end, and bodhisattvas will never rest.
